Activity: 

She graduated in Physics cum Laude in 2005 at “Roma Tre” University (IT), and she received a Ph.D. Physics/Material Science in 2009 at SIMaP-INPG in Grenoble (France). She has worked in the interdisciplinary field of nanotechnology, reaching knowledge about several kinds of materials, such as magnetic nano-alloys, perovskites, organic semiconductors, and graphene-based materials and composites. One of her research activities concerns with the study of the molecular self-assembly at different length scales, employing X-ray scattering techniques, to be correlated with charge transport and thermoelectric properties. Recent activities include the fabrication by CVD methods and the structural study of 2D materials, e.g., graphene-based materials, and hybrid composites in different morphologies such as thin films, membranes, foams/aerogels, and wicks. X-ray scattering measurements are used to study the molecular permeation inside the 2D materials for sensing and filtering applications. Moreover, she is involved in activities concerning experiments carried out in microgravity conditions for aerospace applications: optimization of loop heat pipe systems, investigation of drop impact and splashing
